Soupe Soupe, where you can eat, is walking distance to the hotel. WiFi was a plus. Location met the demands. A nice comfy base for exploring Montreal...

I liked that internet access was simple to use
I disliked the paper towel mats, lack of lighting in the closet area, and lack of two outlets (one for internet and one for phone).

There was a three bedroom apartment, we got a room there $64 tax inc., facilities was shared but we were lucky the other two rooms was locked and nobody there so pretty much we could enjoy our private apartment! The bathroom is pretty simple, the kitchen was fine. The bed was good, except it sounds a lot! Hope you know what I mean ;)

The room had kitchen which was good. Had excellent wired internet access. Good location.
Overall I can't help but comment that this hotel misrepresents itself on the website. It's much smaller than the picture makes it appear. "Air conditioning" Is actually a fan that does not work properly. So when I arrived it 25c outside and at least 32 inside the room. If your here in warmer months you dont want to stay in this hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean.
Long-distance phone calls from the room were not possible. I had to use the pay phone in the reception area. The ceiling fan didn't help much with the heat.

dirty, humid, worst beds ever (hospital beds)

Location, convenience store, helpful staff, free local calls.
Lack of air-conditioning, impossibility to open windows for more than just a crack, shower too small, studio price too high for the level of comfort/service.

You get your own privacy by paying a reasonable price.
There is only a ceiling fan to cool down in hot summer days. The place does not offer parking spaces. The staff do not clean room on a regular basis.

It was the most horrible experience in our hotel stay. Garbage bag full from previous party. No a/c in the room when it was 92 F. No tv. Bed is very, very hard and not a Queen size as was previously told but like a twin size. Physicaly we were in pain. No knight tables, no hangers for clothing. In the reception area including manager there work young not responsible people (maybe students). Me and my husband got sick and all our holyday weekend was completely a horror. Instead of a three knights we stayed two knights and went back home. After the first night we wanted to cancel the second and third night stay but we were told that they can cancel only the third knight. We tryed to find another hotel but it was no vacancy. I have a heart condition problem and coud not take any longer stay in that hotel. I am requesting a refund to my credit card for the two nights in that hotel. This hotel doesn't have even a sign outside like any other hotel or motel. Our gps could not find that hotel or the number. Such a place should be shut down and taking of the Booking list. Please reply.

Horrible value for the money. Small bed with vinyl covered mattress (and unfitted sheet). Hot, with no air conditioning and noisy outside. It was not clear to me that this was a shared accommodation, it is a three bedroom apartment, but you are only getting one bedroom. Booked.net must make this very clear, and it is not! I could not connect to the wired internet. I cancelled the second day and moved to a real hotel for not much more in terms of money.

Staff wilingness
Although I had $95.00 per night confirmation from Booked.net, receptionist insisted on higher cost of $120.00 per night for f1 races weekend. It took almost half an hour to get the cost I was entiteled to. Receptionist had to call higher authority to get permission. Hotel wouldn't acceptBooked.net cost per night automatically.

In the heart of the city close to the old port where all the historic sites are located and 2 blocks from a metro/subway entrance.
No a/c, tiny shower stalls

We could walk to abought every thing that was on our list of interest
Well the only thing that we did not like was the noisy smokers area for we were close to it and there was no sirculation of air through the rooms but over all we will for our next stay in Montreal we will think os the hotel again Thanks

There was no air conditioning. I couldn't find this out. The hotel's telephone # is not listed on the reservations webpage. During an usually hot summer in Montreal, a/c was required. I checked in at 4am, and first discovered the lack of a/c when I saw the room. I immediately notified the front desk staff and asked to cancel the next night's reservation and was told to speak to the director the next day. I checked out at 2:30pm. The director was not on premises. The staff called him and I was told that, because I checked out after 12pm, they would not cancel my reservation, and that I would be charged. I did not stay the next night despite having paid for it. I was that unhappy.
